FESTIVE SYMBOLIZING GOODNESS OVER EVIL
Every festival has some interesting and inspiring history behind. After a long period of 14 years, great Lord Rama returned to his kingdom from exile, marking the history of goodness over evils. Ravana’s death had a great effect on the evils that instantly got removed from the world. All the negativity and ill-practices suddenly subsided. It’s a huge festive of happiness and prosperity.
IT’S ALL ABOUT LIGHT
‘Diwali’ is derived from a Sanskrit word ‘Deepawali’ which means a row of lights which we exactly see on diwali celebration. This festival is a celebration of victory of light over darkness, hope over despair and heralds new beautiful beginnings.
On the return of Lord Rama from exile, people welcomed them by lightning ‘Diyas and Candles’ in their home and making rangolis on the floor. Diwali being a festival of lights is not confined to light up the homes but the hearts of people all over the world. People living in distant places returns to their home for the celebrations. It’s a great festival to celebrate and spend time with your loved ones.
Various beautiful rangoli’s are created on the floors. The air is rich with happiness and joy, sweet fragrance coming from the kitchen. As Lord Rama swept all the evils, on the same it’s a festive of annual cleaning of homes and decorating with the new things.
