A true saint is the one who enlightens one’s life with much positive energy and spiritual love. In this mortal world, many saints Incarnate on earth and gave their message to society. Here we are going to share the life history of a true spiritual master and second spiritual successor of Dera Sacha Sauda, Revered Param Pita Shah Satnam Singh Ji Maharaj.

LIFE SKETCH OF SHAH SATNAM SINGH JI MAHARAJ

A true saint Incarnates on earth as per the wish of Almighty and for the emancipation of the souls. Revered Param Pita Shah Satnam Singh Ji Maharaj belongs to the holy village Shri Jalalana Sahib, district Sirsa, Haryana. His respected father’s name was Sh. Waryam Singh Ji and the name of Mother was Smt. Aas Kaur Ji. Respected Father was the landlord of the village and mother was a very kind hearted woman and true devotee of God.

There was no shortage of anything in their house except a child. Parents have a great devotion towards serving mankind and saints. One day, a saint visited the village to aware people about the worship of God. Respected parents invited that saint to their home and he stayed in the village for couple of days. Daily he took his meal at their home. Respected mother used to serve them food daily. Seeing the true devotion towards supreme power, he prophesized “Your adoration to god is on the supreme level, You will be blessed by a supreme power at your home and your desire for having a child will be definitely fulfilled by God.”

With the true wishes and huge blessings of God, the respected parents were blessed with that supreme power after a long gap of 18 years. Therefore, the most respected Param Pita Shah Satnam Singh Ji Maharaj Ji incarnated on 25^th January, 1919. Whole Universe was filled with happiness and spiritual love. A great wave of pleasure winds up every human being and beautiful creatures of nature.

His holiness was the single child of parents and belongs to Sidhu clan. Their pious childhood name was Sardar Harbans Singh Ji. On the holy incarnation of Revered Param Pita Ji, sweets and jaggery were distributed among villagers and ration was provided to needy by the Royal family. Everyone was giving blessing and was thankful to Almighty for this great happiness.

HOLY CHILDHOOD

The Saint revealed some more facts regarding Sai Ji that his holiness will stay with you only for forty years and go back to their true spiritual master & work for which his holiness has incarnated, serve mankind and impart salvation to the souls.

Everyone was greatly attracted towards the divine face of Param Pita Ji. One day, a water supplier who daily used to fill water at their home, suddenly his eyes fell on divine face of Revered Param Pita Ji and kept watching without blinking his eyes. Respected mother called him and asked, “Why are you staring my child like this( may be with evil intention)”. Suddenly she took his child in her lap. The water supplier replied, “Respected mother, I’m getting a sight of divine radiance in their (Param Pita Ji’s) face. Mother put a black mark on her child’s forehead to stay away from evil’s vision.

KIND & LOVING NATURE

As the time passes, his holiness grew up. Being nourished in a very spiritual environment, Revered Param Pita Ji was an ocean of love and kindness. Whoever comes to their doorstep, his holiness never let them go empty, fulfill all the wishes of needy ones by helping them in every possible aspect. Always participated in every welfare work that happened in village. Everyone was attracted towards the very compassionate and benevolent nature of Revered Param Pita Ji.

SEARCH OF A TRUE SPIRITUAL GUIDE

On the daily basis, his holiness used to recite the 5 hymns from the holy Granth Sahib. Since childhood, his holiness listens to the sermons of various spiritual leaders but not get inner satisfaction by anyone. The strong desire to meet the spiritual radiance was not fulfilled and constantly search for the ultimate supreme power.

While in search, Revered Param Pita Ji met the true spiritual leader and founder of Dera Sacha Sauda, Sai Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj. Now that strong desire got fulfilled after meeting Sai Ji and continues their spiritual journey by attending the spiritual congregations and fully get devoted to Sai Ji.

Param Pita Ji keep attending the spiritual congregations but not able to be blessed with true words of God. Whenever his holiness tries then Sai Ji said that his holiness has not been commanded to blessed with God’s words now, whenever the right time arrives, you will be blessed till then keep attending the pious holy sermons and congregations.

Once, on 14^th March, 1954 Sai Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj conducted a spiritual congregation at ‘Dera Sacha Sauda Anami Dham’ of village Ghunkawali. After the completion of holy sermons, Sai Ji called Revered Param Pita Ji and said “It has been commanded to bless His Holiness with God`s Words today; come inside & sit near Our seat, We are just coming there.” After a period of 3 years, Param Pita Ji was blessed with true holy words of God and designated as the Living Spiritual leader as declared by Sai Ji.

TRUE DEVOTION

Being blessed with the holy words of God, Revered Param Pita Ji had true devotion towards their spiritual master Sai Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj. His holiness always followed each and every word taught by Sai Ji. Whenever, Sai Ji ordered any task to them, his holiness stood upto the expectation of Sai Ji. An ordinary human being can’t understand this unique bond of a true spiritual master and a true devotee. Their love is far different from this world.

DECLARATION OF A SPIRITUAL SUCCESSOR

A mega procession was carried out in the city of Sirsa, Haryana where Revered Param Pita Ji sat on a jeep. Numerous of masses participated in it. Everyone was happy when they came to know that Sardar Harbans Singh Ji (Revered Param Pita Ji) of Jalanana Sahib was to be declared as the second successor of Dera Sacha Sauda by Sai Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj.

When the holy procession returns to Dera Sacha Sauda, Sai Ji himself stands for the welcome of Revered Param Pita Ji and declared publically, “From today, We have transformed Sardar Harbans Singh Ji from an individual self to Satnam-the Supreme Power, from an individual soul to God-Himself. It is the same Satnam on whose support the whole universe is standing.”

Royal stage was decorated in a very pleasant and beautiful way. Sai Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj called Revered Param Pita Ji and enthroned on the royal seat along with himself and stated in spiritual congregation that, “From today onwards, We have granted Sardar Satnam Singh Ji Our Own Form. This is the same Satnam whose holy name the people of the world kept reciting throughout their lives. By holy orders of the Revered Sawan Shah Sai Ji, we have brought Shah Satnam Ji from the abodes above & placed His Holiness before all of you. Whoever gets chance to have His Vision even from the back will not go to the Hell. His Holiness will save him by virtue of His benevolence.”

This was the day of 28^th Feburary, 1960 when the spiritual wealth & radiance got enthroned to Revered Param Pita, Shah Satnam Singh Ji Maharaj. On 18^th April, 1960 Sai Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj left for his heavenly abode…!

REVERED PARAM PITA JI AS SECOND SPIRITUAL MASTER OF DERA SACHA SAUDA

His holiness imparted immense love and way of doing Meditation to lakhs of people. By virtue of his true compassion and benevolence, followers are fully dedicated to the principles of Dera Sacha Sauda. Various spiritual congregations were conducted and Guru Ji made lakhs of people to realize the presence of Almighty by regular practice of Meditation.

Being a spiritual leader, Revered Param Pita Ji built the building of Dera Sacha Sauda whose foundation was laid by Sai Ji. At various places ashrams were built. Inspired by the great teachings of Guru Ji, more than 11 lakh people shun their vices and got blessed with God’s words for being capable of God’s vision.

Moreover, there are more than 20 books and 1500 hymns written by Param Pita Ji in different languages which are simple to understand. These songs & hymns are the inspiration source for devotees. Additionally, revered Param Pita Ji also initiated a praiseful system of dowry free marriages in Ashram which are devoid of superstition. This system is still practiced at Dera Sacha Sauda.

Guru Ji regularly met and discussed with disciples. On the day of 23^rd September, 1990, the most Revered Param Pita Shah Satnam Singh Ji Maharaj declared Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan as the third spiritual successor of Dera Sacha Sauda via formal ceremony and declared, “I am now free from the responsibilities of the Dera. Now my duty is only to eat, sleep and pray. Saint Ji (Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan) will take care of all the affairs of the Dera. Any person who wishes to talk to me must talk to Saint Ji.”

Performing their duty successfully, Revered Param Pita Shah Satnam Singh Ji Maharaj went back to the home of the Lord on 13^th December, 1991….!

Conclusion

By the sincere efforts of Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan, Dera Sacha Sauda has become the hub of Spirituality and Humanitarian welfare works. The caravan of welfare has reached upto 136 welfare works. Guru Ji has become the true inspiration of millions of people all around the globe.
