Our earth is the only known planet in our galaxy that can support life.
Nature comprises of both the living and non-living things which are naturally showered by Almighty, excluding the artificial articles by man.
God furnished us with such beautiful and extraordinary creations without which human life would not have been possible.
Natural resources such as soil, vegetation, air, water, biodiversity, reservoirs, oceans, etc, all of these are those which man cannot afford with all his money, but nature provides us for free.
Over the years, man is has reached new heights of achievements, but unfortunately when it comes to the fragile ecosystem, humans have not put in the much needed efforts into protecting it
Plastic Bags are a threat to the environment.
1. Plastic as being nonbiodegradable does not get degraded in the soil and hence, causes soil pollution. Polythene makes soil infertile. The polythene interaction with soil kills various eco-friendly microbes and diminishes the fertility.
2. Food packets, storages, electronic items, etc every item which we bring within plastic bags also pack up toxic chemicals, bisphenols, mercury, poisons, etc. . These, when come in contact with humans, can cause fatal damage to the body like cancer, congenital disabilities, etc.
3. Plastics, through contaminated water can reach our bloodstream and tissues. This causes impaired immunity, birth disabilities, and pulmonary asthma.
4. Wildlife that accidently intakes plastic, mistaking it for food, results in unfortunate demise of thousands of such animals, birds and aquatic life.
5. Moreover our oceans are turning into a plastic soup. Marine life is getting killed due to plastic pollution.

There is a need for an urgent call to shun plastic use. Plastic has become an evitable part of our lives because of the ease of plastic processing and its low cost. We are surrounded by plastics in household items, grocery shops, shopping bags, even cars!
Polythene bags have become very common. These are given free of cost after the purchases at the fruits, vegetable shops, or grocery shops.
But the reality is that plastics are like toxins causing slow cancer in our lives. Plastics are unhygienic, and include carcinogenic elements that prove to be a great health risk.
