A practitioner or a spiritual saint is one who formerly has rehearsed his training and has come enlightened, thus he shows the path of enlightenment to others too! The word Guru itself speaks a lot. One who leads the person from Gu( darkness) towards Ru( light) is the practitioner. Indeed for studies in seminaries, sodalities a schoolteacher is needed who himself has learned the concerned subjects. How can the spiritual studies be done without an educated practitioner or a spiritual saint! That is the significance of saints in this world because learning bad deeds takes no sweats.
