Staying positive even in the most unfavourable situations portray our trust towards the power that is continuously guiding us. *Power of positivity*•Everyone faces hardships in life. Infact life is about small icebergs of happiness in the ocean of hardships. To keep moving ahead in life, one needs a positive mindset and a good goal to look forward to. • A positive mindset, helps one to get through the toughest times of their lives• In fact, a research shows that positivity has great impact on our health as well1) Optimism provides a great resistance to illness2) Reduces the chances of heart attacks and other cardiovascular disorders3) Reduces the chances of a person falling in the trap of drug abuse4) Decreases rate of depression and anxiety*5) Reduces chances of death from severe respiratory disorders*COPD( Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disorder) is one of the major respiratory ailment. One can even die due to a COPD attack. Several times anxiety and sudden sadness are a trigger to A COPD attack. Staying positive helps prevent anxiety and sadness which to an extent prevent Severe COPD attacks.*6) Reduces chances of having infections*WHO states that mind influences our immune system through neural and endocrine system. A positive mind would help both the system release the chemicals in the right amount which play a significant role in maintaining our immune system.*how to avoid negativity?*One Negative thought ruins all the positive things you came across throughout the day. The old age story that once a teacher wrote the table of 9 on the blackboard. Upon reading the table , students began to mock him because he had made one mistake in the table of 9 and they neglected other correct things. That’s what happens with us. And it’s completely natural. There’s no need of getting frustrated by the fact that a drop of negativity ruined the whole ocean of positivity. It also removes negativity that is trapped within you. A good 30 minutes vigorous exercise can make you calmer.Positive thinking builds self-confidence and creates courage to do something with confidence. With the force generated by this courage, a person solves the most difficult problems. By having a positive thinking, a person does not lose his temper in difficult situations, but finds ways to solve the problem with a calm mind.Positivity is the key to courage and happiness.
