World Students Day – 12 Practical Tips to help you throughout Student Life

A student’s life is the most significant part of one’s life as it lays the foundation of the future. An Individual who utilizes this time attains heights and somebody who wastes it lessens his/ her chances of succeeding.

World Students’ Day is celebrated by UNO perennially on October 15th. This day commemorates the birthday of former Indian president Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam who was born on October 15, 1931, to a Muslim family in Rameswaram. He loved students a lot and always emphasized on how they are the future of the Nation.

Let’s celebrate this World Students day by learning about some potent, practical & beneficial study tips.

The central concern of students is  to retain whatever he has learnt ,  to balance extra curriculur recreations along with studies.

1. Concentration is the key , just like Arjuna concentrated only and only on the eye , the focus must be on studying only while you sit to study!

To bring about concentration one must meditate for five minute atleast ,drink some water, walk for 2 minutes and then study.

  2. Writing while studying helps retain  things in your subconscious.

3. Imaging technique is really helpful for memorizing the formulas and important facts.

4. For competitive and higher studies, studying for more than 8-10 hours becomes a necessity that diminishes scrutiny( attention) in studies. Watching greenry, nature, stars & moon helps replenish ones interest.

5.  Waking up in the brahmamuhrat and studying is highly fruitful

6. Eating before sunset is really helpful. It helps in increasing immunity and mental health without physical health is futile. So taking care of physical health is important too.

7. The importance of an uninterrupted sleep for 6-8 hours is inexplicable. Else after a period of time your mind will vomit out all the information you fed it with!

8.  Don’t study for the sake of good marks only. Study because it broadens your viewpoint, perspective and intellect.

9. As they say Necessity is the mother of all inventions, Consistency is the mother of all the achievements! Studying for 4 hours a day for 5 days is much better than studying for 20 hours a day because the next day you will just dodge off and wont be able to study.

10. Self Discipline in student’s life becomes the building block of all the success in their lives.

The above mentioned tips have been given by Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan, with whose guidance millions of students have achieved success.

11. RSRM technique

R – Read

S- Summarise

R- Revise

M- Memorise.

Our mind has the tendency to forget things, reading is just not enough. Summarising the whole content, revising it multiple times and then memorising it with the books closed helps the mind retain things for a much longer period of time.

12. Having a time table is necessary too but 99 percent of the time tables are never followed! A successful timetable is the one that is made before you sleep. Because not every day is same!

Having goals in life makes it interesting and worth looking forward for.

The one who wakes up in the morning without knowing his target for the day can never succed.

While traveling, we often enjoy the journey more than the actual destination. This holds true in real life as well. Arriving at the destination comprises little time of your life. Our destinations keep changing, when one goal is accomplished we bounce on the other one.  it is the journey that composes the maximum part of life. Relish and cherish it. Don’t confine your happiness to the destination only!

Here the journey depicts the process of studying and the destination represent the actual degree, job, promotion you are striving for!

As the BhagwadGeeta also emphasises on being a Karmyogi and leaving the rest upto the supreme power.

Happy Students Day to every formal student out there and to those too who never stopped learning, questioning, reading and writing.Cheers to those who are learners for life!
