The floods that struck North India in July 2023 caused unimaginable destruction. In such difficult times, the volunteers from Dera Sacha Sauda emerged as life saviors. One of those devout warriors is Mr. Sundarlal Insan.
In his Ambala district, India, he saved 200 people’s lives along with army officers. 90 out of 200 people were saved by him alone. Walking under water, with just life jacket on, which was not even worn properly in hurry, he brought 90 people to rescue by himself, and the rest 110 were brought with the help of army, where he assisted most of all.
……and the Enthusiasm that surprsied everyone! “
The army officers were surprised at his enthusiasm, efficiency and speed at which he was saving lives without even flinching. They saluted him and all the Dera Sacha Sauda volunteers for carrying out the rescue operations. We all know how dreadful those couples of years were after Coronavirus threw the entire world into chaos. Amid that chaos, there were those heroes who tirelessly saved people’s lives. There were sanitation workers, doctors, nurses, police and army officers.
There were those too who worked hard to find the measures to fight Coronavirus. When the trials for Corona vaccine were beginning in India for the first time, some volunteers were needed to test the effectiveness of the vaccine. But there was still risk of the vaccine causing long-lasting harmful effects in case the test failed.
“……and he stepped up without hesitation !”
Among those warriors was another volunteer of Dera Sacha Sauda, Mr. Arun Insan. Without hesitating, Arun Insan offered himself for the vaccine test and became the first in India to ever get tested for Corona vaccine.
Because of his astounding brave act, doctors were quickly able to administer the cure and prevention for Corona throughout India and countless lives got saved!
